Domaine Aléofane is a biodynamic wine estate in the Northern Rhône Valley of France, founded by winemaker Natacha Chave (sister of fellow winemaker Yann Chave and part of the famous Chave winemaking family), in 2004, after studying the philosophy of language, before deciding to return to her oenological roots.

The name Aleofane is borrowed from an imaginary, virtuous island described in a novel by John Macmillan Brown, meaning 'Gem Of Truth'. Natacha chose it as a philosophical nod to her minimalist, biodynamic approach to crafting pure expressions of Syrah in her wines from Crozes-Hermitage, Cornas and Saint-Joseph.
