Method Magic Winemaker Patrick Ligeron achieved his lifetime goal in 2015 when he purchased 11 hectares of vines in his home region of Jura. He honours the local rich wine heritage while farming organically, producing expressive and sophisticated wines that have become some of our most recommended. Chardonnay and Savagnin (an expressive, mainly Juran variety) grapes undergo spontaneous fermentation before being aged for 12 to 15 months in old Burgundy oak barrels. Finally, they are blended together for the perfect balance between Chardonnay's warm fruits and Savagnin's characteristic tang and aged a further 3 to 6 months before bottling without any fining or filtration.
