Bright acidity keeps everything fresh, while fermentation partly in old French oak and seven months on gross lees give the wine a gently rounded, textured feel. Vibrant and distinctive, with considerably more depth than the light, aromatic style often associated with Bacchus.
Tamesis is made from Bacchus grown at Forty Hall Vineyard in Enfield, London's only certified organic vineyard. The wine is fermented with natural yeasts in a combination of old French oak barrels and stainless steel, followed by naturally occurring malolactic fermentation. It then spends seven months on gross lees before being bottled unfined and unfiltered.
