Product Details

Fresh and aromatic, with pear, quince and juicy yellow apple alongside white blossom, citrus and a gentle peppery spice. The palate is dry and energetic, combining ripe fruit with bright acidity and a subtle mineral edge. An exceptionally versatile food wine and a very pure introduction to Ingrid Groiss’s style.

How It's Made

The Grüner Veltliner comes from calcareous loess and iron-rich soils in the Weinviertel. Grapes are selectively harvested by hand over several passes, followed by around eight hours of skin contact and gentle pressing without stems. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel, and the wine remains on its full lees in tank until bottling.
