Matic Postopoma Orange
Matic Postopoma Orange
Product Details
A rich yet uncompromisingly bone-dry orange wine, driven by striking minerality and quiet intensity. Layers of yellow pear and baked apple unfold alongside dried apricot and exotic lychee, touched by a teasing hint of salinity. A delicate honeyed whisper and ripe nectarine glow emerge at the edges, adding depth and seduction without ever tipping into sweetness. Complex, textured, and utterly captivating from first sip to lingering finish.

Method Magic Štajerska, a sun-kissed, hilly region in northeastern Slovenia, sits at the crossroads of Austria and Hungary. Its vineyards carry a rich, layered history, blending the character of its own terroir with influences from its neighbours. Here, Matija Žerjav (Matic to friends) tends nine hectares of old, organic family vineyards, crafting wine in a cellar that’s been in use since 1852. “We work only with what nature gives us,” says Matic. “No chemicals, no shortcuts.” The result? Pure, vibrant, and honest wines that are a true reflection of time, place, and the vision of one of Slovenia’s most exciting young talents.
