Incredibly sophisticated skin contact wine - with a stunning purple hue thanks to the particular colour of the Pinot Gris grapes. Layers of plum, rhubarb, orange pith and cherries on the nose, with fine tannins to make your mouth water on the palate. A wine to make you pause and take another sip - we've rarely tasted a wine quite as interesting as this. It's structure and persistent flavour makes it ideal for a wide range of food pairings, too.

Grapes & Type Pinot Grisยท Orange Wines ๐Ÿ”ถ

Method Magic Star winemaker Melanie Pfister commands her Domaine in Dahlenheim, at the northern tip of the famed Alsace wine region. Grapes are grown on limestone and loess soils, before being harvested by hand and then thrown together to be macerated for 2 weeks. 10% whole bunch. Once fermentated, the wine is aged in old barrels, without any added sulphur, being allowed to soften and fully integrate, before bottling nearly a year later.
