Method Magic Lianto Primitivo Salento comes from Salento in Puglia, the sun-drenched heel of Italy’s boot, where old Primitivo vines thrive in hot coastal air and mineral-rich soils. Made by Tempo al Vino, a small, quality-driven label connected to the respected Salento winery Schola Sarmenti, this wine is all about tradition with a modern edge. The grapes are hand-harvested from low-yielding vineyards, often trained in the classic alberello bush-vine style that helps them survive the heat and concentrate flavour. Fermentation happens mainly in stainless steel, preserving the grape’s naturally bold character rather than masking it with heavy oak. The result is a warm, juicy, fruit-packed red, dark berries, spice, and soft tannins that captures the laid-back intensity of southern Italy in every sip.
