Champagne William Saintot Blanc de Noirs Premier Cru

A wonderful colour of slight salmon pink bodes well for this incredibly sophisticated blanc de noirs, a Champagne made from 100% Pinot Noir. Strawberries and cream at first on the nose gives way to a warming, oaky spice, reminiscent of cinnamon and toast. The body is ripe, full of red berries and that touch of vanilla to add extra depth, before finishing with an impressive length that sparkles with a hint of lifting salinity. One of our absolute favourites for those who like their Champers with both elegance and flavour.

Method Magic Morgann Saintot is the fifth generation to run this domaine, located in Avenay-Val-d'Or, at the eastern part of the Vallée de la Marne. HVE (High Environmental Value) certified, and working towards organic certification, Morgann takes great care over 10 hectares of mainly Pinot Noir vines. Each plot is vinified separately - this wine is from Premier Cru vineyards, and is concentrated enough to be aged in 70% oak, 18% concrete egg and 12% stainless steel. The impeccable balance of all these elements in a testament to this producers' skills. Only 2g/L is added a final dosage.
