The peated malt from New Zealand that's taken the world by storm. Fresh green apples amid pine tree forest, this whisky is bright, savoury and refreshingly different. The peat makes its prescence felt by bonfire smoke character and a touch of iodine, layered above thyme and hints of vanilla. Rich crème brûlée comes through on the palate, with a smack of pepper and lemon pith on the finish. Impressively down-to-earth deliciousness.
