Method Magic The journey of Lahuen begins in the vineyard, where only the finest grape bunches are hand-picked with precision to preserve their integrity and flavour. After gentle destemming and meticulous hand selection, the grapes undergo a cold maceration to extract pure, vibrant aromas. Fermentation follows, with each grape variety vinified at its ideal temperature. Over 8 to 12 days, the cap is carefully punched down to build depth and structure. The wine then undergoes post-maceration before being transferred to a mix of French oak barrels and large-format foudres (2,000–3,500 liters), where it gracefully matures for up to 18 months, completing malolactic fermentation and gaining richness, elegance, and complexity.
