Juicy single malt whisky from Australia. Yep, you read that right - this is truly the plummiest, berry-filled malt we've ever tasted. That's thanks to its maturation in casks previously filled with red wine produced in sunny 'Straya. The result is a nose of tropical fruits, blackcurrants and spice. On the palate, you get ripe blackberries, the skins of red apples, coated in vanilla. Gorgeous sipper.

Method Magic Both grain and casks are sourced a day's drive from Starward's home in Melbourne, Australia, making this a truly Aussie-made malt. The changeable weather makes the oak expand and contract frequently, imparting its red fruit, vanilla and spice notes, in turn making Starward a distinctive and delicious dram. Frenck oak red wine casks, 100% malted barley. 🥃
