Method Magic The grapes are carefully hand picked and crushed carefully using a pneumatic press, this allows for a purer more refined juice. Fermentation happen using natural yeasts, which makes vinification more difficult but adds a unique character to the wine. The wine is then aged on its fine lees for approx 7 months. The wines are then filtered just before bottling, this gives the wine an extended aging period leading to extra complexity and balance in your wine glass.

About Domaine Stentz-Buecher

Wettolsheim, Alsace France Founded 1975

Domaine Stentz-Buecher is a family-run wine estate in Wettolsheim, at the heart of Alsace. Created in its present form in 1975 by Jean-Jacques and Simone Stentz, it brought together two families with generations of winegrowing behind them. Today the domaine farms around 12 hectares, with Stéphane Stentz responsible for winemaking and his sister Céline working on the commercial side of the estate.

Certified organic since 2010, Stentz-Buecher takes a low-intervention approach in both vineyard and cellar, aiming to let the character of its vineyards come through in the wines. The domaine works important sites including Rosenberg and the Grand Crus Hengst, Steingrübler and Pfersigberg, producing distinctly Alsatian wines from Riesling, Gewurztraminer, Pinot Noir, Muscat and the region's other traditional varieties.
