Method Magic Niepoort are legends in the world of Port. Now on their fifth and sixth generations, the family have been running their business since the move from Holland to Portugal in 1842, and in many ways are only getting started! '10 Year Old Tawny' means different wines from around this age have been blended to form a style. Tawny Port is aged in large barrels called 'port pipes', where they take on a typical hint of nuttiness thanks to ageing up the Douro valley. This slow oxidation also turns the wine a slighlty brownish colour - hence, 'tawny'!
