Named after France's legendary 'Sun King', Louis XIV, this is a Champagne fit for the decadent halls of Versailles. 100% Chardonnay from the Gonet family Grand Cru vineyards in lauded Le Mesnil sur Oger has translated into aromas of delicate, elegant candied fruit of lemons and apricots, coated with crumbs of gingerbread. Quite a weighty mouth feel dominated by ripe citrus flavours and persistent fine bubbles. Refreshing with a long finish, this is truly majestic Champagne.

Method Magic Born in 1830 and rooted in the prestigious village of Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, where the seventh generation, Pierre and Chantal Gonet, are carrying the legacy forward (and collecting more awards and recognition for their hard work). Their Roy Soleil has 30% reserve wines, 100% Grand Cru Chardonnay grapes, and a heck of a lot of flavour. The wine is aged 3 months in 600L oak barrels, a combination of new and old, plus 4 whole years on the lees. Bottled at Brut dosage (7g/l).
