Élixir Végétal de la Grande-Chartreuse is the original herbal elixir created by the Carthusian monks in 1764, crafted from a secret recipe of 130 plants, flowers, roots, spices, and botanicals through a meticulous process of distillation, maceration, and extraction. Intensely aromatic and highly concentrated at 69% ABV, it delivers powerful herbal flavours with notes of mint, anise, pepper, eucalyptus, and warming alpine spice. Traditionally enjoyed in very small measures, it is best served as a few drops in chilled water, herbal tea, or on a sugar cube, and also works beautifully as a herbal accent in cocktails or warming toddies.
