François Merlin is a self-taught winemaker, who along with his son Laurent farm high altitude small plots in the North Rhône.

" 50 years ago, my father François created the small Domaine F Merlin.

As a winemaker child more applied to the vines than at school, I wanted to learn everything from the grapes to the forgotten secrets of old-fashioned winemaking.

In love with our magnificent terroir, I have put back in cultivation dizzying plots abandoned by modernity.

Work by hand a hostile vineyard, make great wines in the magic of the cellar, while respecting nature and people.
