Method Magic From a winemaking family based in the area since 1818, sister and brother Maud and Vincent have a strong sense of place. Like many in the new Grower Champagne renaissance, they took over the estate from their parents and decided to bottle and sell for the public under their own name. They are working to convert their 7 hectares of vines into organic viticulture, believing that you can get the best wines from well-cared-for soil. Their particularly known for producing single-varietal Champagnes - L'inattendu is 100% Pinot Meunier, the Domaine's main grape. After harvest, the wine is aged on lees between 36 and 42 months, with 7g/L dosage.
