Product Details

This mezcal light aromas with loads of citrus overtones - also, bit of roasted pear. The palate is packed with tropical fruit flavours accompanied by spice and wood and followed by a clean dry finish. Copper stills are used to double ferment using wood fire.

Try in a: Champagne flute or small wine glass and sip, like it is a whisky or brandy.

Del Maguey is a pioneering Single Village mezcal producer founded by artist Ron Cooper in 1995. Rather than operating as a single distillery, Del Maguey works with Zapotec and Mixtec producer families in villages across Oaxaca and Puebla, with individual expressions reflecting the people, agaves and places behind them.

Traditional production and a strong sense of place sit at the heart of Del Maguey. Different villages, producer families, agave varieties and methods give each mezcal its own character, from the approachable Espadín-based Vida to tiny-production expressions made from wild agaves and special releases such as Pechuga.
