Method Magic The grapes were hand-harvested from the Chateau's vineyards by hand from mid-September to early October. Layers of gravel on clay ensure the grapes get the right balance of juiciness and ripeness. The vines average 30 years of age. The wine is fermented in a combination of concrete and stainless steel vats, before a minimum 12 months of ageing in oak barrels, for that classic Claret taste.
