Redcurrants and raspberries abound, overlaid with notes of cloves, nutmeg and a touch of that classic Nebbiolo 'tar'. Firm tannins make this 'baby Barolo' extremely complementary with a range of flavourful food.

Method Magic The Sobrero family have been producing top-tier Piedmontese wines since the 1940s, with 16 hectares across a range of the best crus of the Langhe appellation. 15 year old vines grown on clay soils and farmed organically produce the harvest for this bottle. The grapes are fermented in stainless steel, with twice-daily pump-overs. Malolactic conversion is allowed to take place, before the wine is aged for one year in 25 and 50 hl oak barrels. The result is integrated tannins and a smooth mouthfeel in this impressive Langhe.
